I’m in love with the shelves, So many boxes I thought I’d never fill them all but alas, I almost have. A couple cubby holes to be filled yet but getting there.

“A place for everything, and everything in it’s place” is the saying, but it’s really true with this set up currently. I haven’t have it set up long enough to actually let it get out of hand yet.

After 224 (100%) feedback, and 334 sales, I’m shut down. I can’t even have an account now, even to buy. They are turned me off on Tuesday completely but I had a chance to save off my customer data.

Reason? Good Question. The standard form letter cited no reason, just that they were evicting me. Since I can’t use the forums or Storque so I’m not sure what they can find to complain about me with, other than I work for Artfire and exist.

I cant say I’m surprised. I’ve been expecting this since September when I joined on at Artfire and announced it here on my blog, so this is just the other shoe dropping. I’ve more or less stayed on out of pure spite.

You can of course find me on Artfire for all your pincushiony needs.

I know, someone will say “oh but they use less plastic! Less in a landfill! Less oil used!”

I can’t use them! They have slightly rounded sides, they are about half as high and don’t do what I need (hold the balls in).

Luckily I still have many of the good ones for sale in my shop!

All prices are in Euros, but I’ve done good conversions, so those wanting to buy my things in their own currency, now’s your chance.

I’m growing more and more disenchanted with Etsy, and some recent questionable decisions or closures with other storekeepers and a serious lack of useful upgrades. And while I have no plans to leave Etsy right now, you never know what Etsy’s plans are for me so it’s good to have a backup as I could wake up and my store be gone.

I will probably eventually move my store to my own site, but for now anyway I have two.

It’s full of gorgeous pincushion projects from crafters from Flickr, Etsy and Craftster and beyond. If you love pincushions, or just like crafting, this is a great book and Amazon has a great for it – $12 but all major booksellers both online and brick & mortar have it.
