Hmmm. Why do I need the makeover? Because I’m a web PROGRAMMER, not a web DESIGNER, Jim…oops, wait, wrong show.
Seriously, I’m a computer geek from way back but that doesn’t include graphic design, and my attempts at banners and such show it. Just check Art of the Firebird’s ArtFire Shop if you want proof. I keep trying to muddle around with the GIMP but it’s just that, muddling. There aren’t enough hours in the day for me to both melt glass and become a pro with graphic design, and honestly, I’d rather melt glass!
I need the makeover because my banner isnt big enough and I want my shop to look nifty and cohesive.

I joined AF just the other week, went pro only yesterday and I don’t even have any items in my shop yet (still taking pics).
Knowing that I’m most often not on the friendly side with programs like gimp and photoshop I sure could use some help with the design. I kinda know what I want but not how to do it.

I just took this shop pro June 1st. It is my secondary shop for wool sweaters to upcyle/refashion etc. I think my banner looks like garbage and it was suppose to be only temporary… I have trouble with getting the pictures to look right. As in not stretched out. I like my little sheep logo, but I’m not a whiz with photo manipulation software and could use a hand in that department. I pretty much only know how to use Iphoto and Picknik which I used to make the banner that I have.

I need a new banner. Mine is currently is an enlargement of a piece of vintage fabric. I have no Idea hoe to design things like that. I can’t even figure out how to add the big AF promo widget on my facebook page. I have had to disable my custom merchandiser because I can’t get that to work either. I already know what I would like. PLEASE help me!
Wow, that’s a really cool offer! Yeah, my studio needs a makeover – I like colors in the warm range – rust, orange (one of my favorites), reds, and so forth. But, the mix I have now doesn’t…seem….quite…right. I have a new tagline that I want to incorporate as well. Aaaand, I also want a logo to reflect the idea of a compass (as in “Go West…”), but haven’t yet found one with which I’m happy.
