Uploading your pics
Once you have your account set up you want to start uploading! Flickr has many ways to do this.
They have an upload page forom the “you” spot on the menu (http://www.flickr.com/photos/upload/) and use the web uploader.
But – I recommend heading to http://www.flickr.com/tools/ and see the various OTHER ways you can upload your pics like from your cameraphone via email! The web uploader even can select entire folders of pictures! But while there be sure to grab a copy of the Uploadr application for your system and use that.
It’s a little stand alone application that makes it so easy. You can drag and drop big groups of pictures right into it, drag them around inside to be in the other you want to upload them in, fill out titles and descriptions, and tags all right there as well as automatically add them to a set. It’s very swift.
Once you get them up you might want to go into the Organizr to add them to any sets, make new sets, collections, add tags to the whole batch etc. (see the section on the Organizr) or start adding them to groups!

Whew! That is pretty comprehensive.
People should know though, that even if you set your photos so that no one can download and print them, they still can download and print them. It’s just a little more work but any photo from Flickr can be saved to someone else’s computer and printed. Their “spaceball” trick will only slow down a determined image thief, not prevent them.
If you really REALLY don’t want anyone saving your photos, it’s best not to put them online at all.
